Most satisfying kill?

Flipping a circle strafing commando completely over my catapult.

AWESOME!

AC/20 coring a jenner is the absolute, most satisfying experience in this game.

Toss up between Gauss snipering a moving Commando at range (pure fluke) or getting circled by a Jenner in my IM unable to get good hits in until he overheats and shuts down...

My two most memorable kills were AC20 hits on lights. The first, a Commando I hit square in the chest, the impact sent him somersaulting away. Very funny, wasn't expecting that. Second was a total luck shot from my Founders Hunchback that cored a Jenner that was running circles around a Catapult, couldn't believe that one!

I'm that raven, or jenner... never been a mando or equipped an AC/20 // Gauss but when your ' shot ' ' kills ' me I sure get upset 'cos it usually means time to sit back and pray the enemy doesn't target // chase ya. If I even have the luxury of not being one shot by it that is.

it's okay... I deserve it, for numerous reasons. ;)

Two satisfying kills:

While piloting a Hunchback I was confronted by an Awesome coming out of cover at close range and charging right up to my face - only he completely botched his alpha strike (hr fired as soon as he was out of cover and missed) and he seemed to be near his heat threshhold because he barely got off a shot for the next 8 seconds or so while he stayed right in my face. So I unloaded 3 AC/20 shots directly into his cockpit at point blank range for a kill.

Shooting at a Commando rushing around my team and going for our base. I did some good damage as he passed us by, then managed to head him off and be waiting when he rounded a big rock. He got a pack of missiles in the face as soon as he came around the corner, killing him before he registered what he was up against. He spent the rest of the match loudly whining about streakcats - I was in a little Commando like him.

My most satisfying kill?

Last night, from over 700m away, I had my leg taken off in one shot by another mech. I was up on a hill (I think at E4/5 on Forest), behind some trees, and this mech fires once. BAM! Leg blown off! Hobble off of the hill and kinda hobble over to another hill after giving that pilot "WOW! Great shot!"

Standing up on top of the new hill looking at the same mech, well over 700m away. BAM! Cored by a single shot! Out of the match! (Of course I was out of the match once I had lost my leg. Hence the hobble to another hilltop.)

Two hits by, I think, an AC (got the ringing clank sound) and dead...

Oh, I was in a COM-2D with ECM.

Why was this other pilot's kill so satisfying? Because it puts to rest the stupidity of the "ECM has broken the game/is OP!" crowd...

As for my own most satisfying kill? Any kill I make and walk away from...

One kill that always comes to mind when thinking of my favorite kills was on the Caldera map. We had all just positioned near our side of the volcano and were keeping an eye out for enemies. I noticed some movement on a hill clear on the other side of the map. A commando was cresting and attempting to scout out our team. I lined up my gauss and fired a single shot. I saw the sparks from the hit and then I saw some extra explosions. Then half a second after that the commando blew. The guy next to me gave me a "Good Shot!". I don't know what I hit on that little guy, but he looked like another volcano going off in the distance.

Other than that, I am always really satisfied when I hit a moving scout, while I'm moving, with a perfectly led gauss shot.

I was walking along on the forest colony map in my Cataphract (The Yeti) when I began receiving fire from behind me. I noticed that I had some team mates on my six and ignored the first hit, as I was keeping an eye on a juicy target. Suddenly, I'm rocked hard again, this time I see my rear armor just drop right off. I also see that my team mates are moving away from me so I am alone in my Cataphract. As I start to shift around to counter, another hit rocks me and my core turns red. As I come around to meet my foe, I see that it is a Jenner with very little damage. So with a naked rear, I begin to do the circle dance with him, reversing and stopping, swinging left and right to target him as he comes around. The fight went on for a long minute when I finally connected with two gauss rounds that layed him out. I felt that that kill was impressive as I never allowed him to hit my rear again. After he fell another enemy tickled my back with a med laser for a millisecond and killed me. I was literally one crappy hit from death.

No No guys, it's the dual guass to the head followed by the med laser rake over finish, killing half their team in eight salvos. Leave the rest to your team so you can stand amid the smoking ruins of your enemies and cackle.

THIS. This is a satisfying kill. AC/20 slug straight to the center torso, followed by a double streak. One-two.

Saw knock down in there! Cool! Can't wait for that!

(I only run commandos but am a firm believer in physics...)

Ha. Sniping a Jenner for the other side of River City with my pair of ERLLs. I just love seeing the armor readout turning from grey, to orange, to red... to gone... to dust, as he wonders what the heck is killing him from so far away. Oh, and also powering down when somebody gets in close quarters (I'm purely a sniper with almost all armor removed), and having them walk right on by the poor little Raven that appears to be dead... which then gets up and lasers their back as soon as they pass by.

2 scenarios come to mind:

A: Me in my AWS 9M with triple ppc, forest colony, on the lake side. Crazy jenner pilot starts a mad dash across the lake. I line up my sights......SHAPOW!!! 3 erPPCs dead centre to the cockpit at 700m. We lost that game horribly after that but I had the moral victory. Now, I realize that the jenner may have been a suicide run farmer, and it was a ridiculously lucky shot, but I prefer my way better, and it was still crazy awesome regardless.

B: Me in my souped up 90kph AC20 YLW in a crazy knife fight with another jenner. I manage to come out on top and he tries flying away in a graceful arc. Me still on the move, I line up, and blow him out of the sky about 70m in the air, and watch him tumble to the ground.

This is just a short list of satisfying kills while piloting various hunchies. All except the Atlas were luck but I will take them.
1. Alpha strike to the cockpit Jenner, he falls over dead.
2. 2 Alpha strikes to the cockpit Awesome falls over dead.
3. Alpha strike to the cockpit Catapult falls over dead (Don't Know if it was a streak cat or not he never got off a shot).
4. 3 Alpha strikes to the back of an Atlas he died.
The hunchback might not be a big Mech but they can certainly pack a punch.

This always makes me smile...

A volley of SRMs into the back of a Commando. They always seem to misplace their components.

... Nice. Too bad you can't do that with lasers.
