It is just so satisfying when you finally get the chance to land an AC/20 slug into a Jenner's face... or a damned Commando's back.

All other kills aside, i enjoy that far more than anything else. That pesky little Jenner/Commando getting melted is just the best feeling in this game.

Wait 'til you try making the run into 36 SRMs. :)

As a once dedicated COM-jockey, I have too much respect for the little buggers and the crazy people who pilot them (or, rather, too much respect for what they used to be, ECM kinda changed that game) to take too much sadistic pleasure in killing them.

Jenners, on the other hand, oh boy. I will AC you to bits and laser the remains into a molten slag-heap, then spend the rest of the match stomping over what's left if I get you in my Phract.

Most memorable kill I've ever gotten though had to be my first. I had kitted out my Dakota into a firey little SRM-shooting machine, and was only missing the skill needed to pilot her without dying five-seconds into the match (#COMjockproblems). I'd went off to scout back when I thought scouting meant "Running into the enemy team headfirst then telling your team where they're coming from once you're dead," and was lucky enough to avoid them entirely. Pulled round the volcano on Caustic and saw my and the enemy team brawling in the distance, and a pretty little Awesome laying down some long-distance support fire all by her lonesome. Shy little minx was practically begging me to give it to her, and boy did I ever. I laughed when I realized she was only kitted out with three ERPPCs too. It was fun, we had a playful little fight, but we both knew who was on top. I did a good enough job showing her that.

Shortly afterwards I discovered that you could explode yourself by overheating inside the caldera. Who knew?

My most satifying kill in recent memory was taking a streakcat apart piece by piece because I had the time to take my time since I was the last surviving ECM mech in the match.

Peeled ever last bit of armor off the chassis took both arms off and then a leg followed by coring him.Wanted to make sure there was a discouragingly high repair bill.

Most satisfying game I've ever had was in my commando, 1-D. 2 ml, and 2 streaks. Ended up going 1v3 and winning against 2 catapults and a hunchback(although, to be fair, the hunchback was pretty beat up). Had members of both teams cheering with every successful missile dodge as I slowly whittled the last cat down with my two puny lasers (streaks had run out at this point)

I remember something similar to this. Closed beta.

Back when this happened, was the dawn of the ''gausskats'' when very few players knew of them. I was piloting my K2 Gauss Rifle Catapult. Short story short, myself and my team were utterly destroyed by superior players. But we had an ace up our sleeve. A lone 4/6 MLaser (dont remember) Jenner. Up against 2 Atlas mechs with close to pristine armour.

The entire team was watching this one little Jenner consistently melt the rear armour on BOTH Atlas mechs before coring both. Took the better part of 5-7 minutes to defeat both. The entire team pretty much gave up when all we had left was a Jenner. That is, until that one little Jenner starting tearing those Atlas mechs apart, piece by piece. Everyone, at the time all dead, came back to watch the show the Jenner was putting on. Without so much as a few swipes from the two 100t mechs lasers the Jenner came out with only yellow and orange armour. The 2 Atlas mechs didnt come out with anything.

then watching team mates leap all over it like a bunch of rabid honey-badgers.

Lol! Honey badger don't care!

Sometimes I find myself confronted with an Atlas charging toward me guns blazing while I'm in my Iliya, I've had a few times where I just started emptying my UAC5's on their CT and watch them blow up, that's always satisfying.

Anytime I kill a light mech that runs a little too close to my AC20 Cat is always satisfying indeed...
