[Magnificent Bastard]

As a Jenner pilot it pains me to say this... but that wallpaper sucks. I know, I'm sorry... I try not to be negative about anything MWO-related (Free game with free wallpapers? Yes, please. Thank you.) But that wallpaper is lackluster. I'd prefer a screenshot of one of the beta videos rather than a hazy pic of a Jenner on top of a building. I lookforward to seeing more wallpapers, really I do, but I won't be using this one.

Edit: Also, as a "constructive criticism" suggestion... the wallpaper is very brightly colored. It might just be personal preference but I find that darker wallpapers are much more preferable. You don't need to go super-dark but hell... maybe a night map wallpaper would be a good idea as a sort of "double reveal". You show us what night maps would look like in MWO and we get a wallpaper to boot. Something to consider I suppose.

That isn't a very 'green' wallpaper. Don't they know that the brighter a background is the more power it takes to display that image? Make a darker wallpaper

I love the image but the logo is glaringly out of place, and detracts from the overall effect. Otherwise well done.

It surprises me that fan-made wallpapers posted in this thread are way better than the grossly overexposed official one that is to put it bluntly bland and boring. How it is even possible to make a bad wallpaper when each MWO screenshot I've seen is practically a wallpaper all by itself without any post production necessary?

Hey guys. Ease up on the negative criticism of the large logo. If it's not your cup of tea, that's cool and all, but lets not bash on them for providing the community with something nice like this. Be constructive with the criticism. I'm sure they know now about the logo, and if we're gonna get more wallpapers down the line, the "You'll catch more flies with sugar" will be received a lot better.

I've been very happy and appreciative that PGI has gone into a mode in May where they are increasing the amount of things they're doing for us each week. Be nice!*
