No, we all fought. The first match, on Caustic, I and a fellow fast mech were on your Atlas while my teammates braweled with your brawlers. I believe I got the kill on the Atlas. I was piloting the CDA-3M my wingman was in a RVN-3L.

The second match, also on Caustic, we recognized you guys and knew you would be base rushing in fast mediums, so we sat back in defensive positions and recieved you. I don't believe I got a kill in that match.

To be honest, the first match was a bit of a surprise. We hadn't expected a fast rush like that after so many matches of slow positioning before the brawl. Luckily, my wingman noticed you guys moving through the culdera very quickly and we were able to sound the alarm. It might have worked had you waited a bit longer for us to commit.

Also, to be fair, the reason I posted my first post is because Vassago stated that you guys wiped the floor with the mercs tonight. I wanted to set the record straight.

>implying you didn't take personal offense to smacktalk.
>implying pointing out that you can beat inferior mediums with no ECM or real guns strengthens your position.

My only real concern, and I think I can speak for all of WSB, is that we win. Anything beyond that is superficial.

Also: ECM needs Null sig aspects removed, Streaks need dumbfire option when they are being jammed. LRM needs trajectory boost only when in direct fire mode.

Streaks can't dumb fire, the system won't let you ((cannon wise anyway))

ECM not as absolutely necessary as people previously thought.

Actually, it's far better to win with what's established as 'fair methods' occasionally, than to always score an underhanded victory, and underdogs draw a bigger audience than Steven Segal beating the same henchmen every single movie over and over.

I fear that early-onset Alzheimer's must have struck while I was asleep because I don't understand this thread at all, it's like old people trying to work VCRs and computers.

I can see all the flashing lights and activity, but it's utterly lost on me.. ;)

I would also like to express my personal dissatisfaction with the DHBs ungently behavior tonight. I mean, sure, this game has rules and playing by the rules is expected, but capping a severely underweight team when it comes charging straight into your 3 or 4 Atlases with Centurions, a Swayback an Awesome and some other shitmechs is just bad. We had so much fun fighting underweight and you killed that fun. At least we got one of your Atlases before being capped.
Do you, guys, really find it fun standing in the Red Square?

<S> Greetings.

So. Let me try and follow you here.

You're obviously a little miffed, and consider timely use of tactics 'ungently'?

You left your base undefended. It is standard DHB combat protocol to try and win every match we play. If you leave your base undefended that's on you and if/when your base is captured, you shouldn't deem it 'ungently' you should learn from the mistake and perhaps do a better job of defending your base next drop.

Sorry it wasn't fun for you. I for one always do my best to provide a challenging match for my opponents, whomever they are, whenever I have the opportunity to drop. The rest of the Brigadiers in DHB do the same.

I find this game fun in general, whether I'm killing 'mechs or capping my opponents base or defending my own base from being capped. Please focus on your own tactics if they're failing you and causing you to lose matches rather than claiming someone else is doing something 'ungently' by simply playing the game as it's designed to be played.

<S> See you dirtside.

a-s-s-e-t-s is apparently partially covered under the filter. Interesting.
