I just played a game where we were up one kill, capped more of their base, out damaged them, and earned more xp, yet we still lost when the timer ran out.
Anyone know what it take to win when the counter runs down.
Only thing i can think of is we had less tons left on the field.

Happened to us as well, think it is a bug.

7 kills to 1 death, we capped more then they had. The only thing I can think of is they started the cap our our base before we started the cap of theirs.

Both sides get a defeat

When timer runs out with no clear victory, both sides are given defeat. A good way to avoid mass farming if you know what I mean.

I think your information is wrong , if timer runs out and both sides have same number of mechs its a tie !! I have been the last mech in this situation. If you are up mech wise and capture wise it should be a win. So it remains unexplained how you got a defeat. tonnage doesn't seem to count!
