So I just got an e-mail telling me that MW:Tactics is entering it's friends and family beta on May 22. It then went on to tell me people registered on their temporary forums are going to be getting a closed beta key.

Whether that means on the same day or not, I have no idea, but hey, it's nice to be hearing more about another Mechwarrior product. Go head on over there and sign up while you can!

I got my invite too.. Can't wait.. will have some new Mech goodness to tide me over to MW:O

If anything I think I may "slightly" be looking more forward to playing this game in a purely casual way..

I envision it being like TT but with cool graphics and I can take turns like Words with Friends..

I mean I KNOW What to expect from MW:O in a way.. MT is a completely different animal.. and curious how it will play.

The REAL question is MW:O far away.. or will this make them push out the closed Beta sooner
