If you die in the first 5 min chances are your doing something wrong.

Like being a new player. There absolutely must be game modes that allow for more than one try and more objectives than "don't die faster than the other team". Deathmatches can be fun and all but they aren't friendly to new players or to experimenting with new mechs and loadouts. Objective-based gameplay is, frankly, the overall superior choice for a team multiplayer game.

I think each player should receive a base chassis at start (Either assigned, or chosen from a limited selection) that is specifically designated as their "starter mech." This mech cannot be sold and costs nothing to repair, but should have very little option for customization. This will ensure that every pilot gets a fair start, and pilots cannot be "dispossessed," with not enough C-Bills to field at least one operational mech.

I dont want to respawn fast, you kill someone with mech so damaged that small laser hit would kill you and in couple seconds same guy you gloriously defeated is now facing you with brand new fixed mech,me no gusta

I dont think most people are even understanding what I am saying. There are no respawns and thats not the issue. I'm saying if you die in a match you should be able to leave and go play ANOTHER MATCH with ANOTHER MECH that you own in the lab. If we only start with ONE MECH, there wont be a mech to go back to to play ANOTHER MATCH with while the other game is finishing.

Example: You have two mechs, X and Y. You play with mech X and die in 5 min, you back out to your garage and play with mech Y in a completely different queue and game. That is how it should be. I am just worried that if all you have is mech X, then those 15-20 min wait times may drive off some players.

The solution would simply be not to force you to wait until the match is complete before you can queue up again. Why would they make you wait?

if you start rolling out mechs one after another because you have them in storage it will become a game of numbers and not of skill. die, logout, repair, get back into a different game.

1) Do we know we only get 1 mech to start the game with?

2) Do we know after you die even if you leave the match your mech has to stay as wreckage?

There is a game mode where we use 3 mechs and drop in one at a time, this suggests to me we start with 3 mechs. Could be 3 of the same chassis with different variants.

If you have 1 mech and it dies early in the match and you exit. Your mech is available in your mech bay/hanger immediately. Thats right, believe it or not, even though the previous game is still running, you have the exact same mech availalbe for another match. Although you will want to repair the damage it sustained in the previous battle.

Concepts I believe are confusing you:
1. There is no perma death. You cannot lose a mech in battle (you can lose components like weapons however)
2. Your mech is not bound to a game until the match ends, it is only bound there while you are in the match. You do not have to wait for the battle to end before you get your chassis back.

Was it confirmed that a mech is not bound to a match? I knew you couldn't lose a mech totally, but I figured you couldn't use a mech until the fight that it was in was over.
