The star league refuses to even consider using ECM, yet sweeps the opposition in 500 year old mechs. Mercs, are you even trying?

I would also like to express my personal dissatisfaction with the DHBs ungently behavior tonight. I mean, sure, this game has rules and playing by the rules is expected, but capping a severely underweight team when it comes charging straight into your 3 or 4 Atlases with Centurions, a Swayback an Awesome and some other shitmechs is just bad. We had so much fun fighting underweight and you killed that fun. At least we got one of your Atlases before being capped.
Do you, guys, really find it fun standing in the Red Square?

Red square is best square.

Also: ECM needs Null sig aspects removed, Streaks need dumbfire option when they are being jammed. LRM needs trajectory boost only when in direct fire mode.

The MK1 Eyeball is far better then ECM.

Until your dumb lancemates run directly into the enemy and you can no longer pick them out from eachother due to lack of distinguishing paint or an IFF.

I suppose ECM would bug me more if I ever used locking weapons.

Hold on tight Star League! PGI hit the launch button a little too early. You're in for a ride.

Not pictured: DHB LRMboat atlas with a TAG, who loses to a cent in streetfighting.

There's an old Lyran saying:

"the square is always redder on the other side".

There were no jenners killing us today.
Unless you're talking about lame caprushers, in which case it might have happened. It's hard to see people who refuse to show themselves, even in the face of 8 mediums with bright colors and MAXIMUM SANICS.

Wolf Spiders played you guys twice today. You lost both matches. I seem to recall you whined a great deal about the first loss, not so much on the second. I guess you knew a loss was inevitable after the first.

I've been having less fun in 8-mans lately but when we decided to just pick the WORST from our mech bays and just rush in to die only to win, I can't stop having fun and laughing. Seriously, the enemies thought we were in 8 Atlas D-DCs at the beginning only to see our Dragons and Centurions crest the hill and be completely flabbergasted,

What you've got to understand about us here in Kong is the only time our whining is serious is when it;s a basecap rush. If however your "crushing victory" or whatever is from a basecap where no one even bothered to engage us at all we will belittle your manhood.

If we get slaughtered then whatever, that's a fair loss [unless to certain BS things, like a lone lagshileded light mech taking out 4 assaults in a row...], we expected our crappy centurions and dragons to be slaughtered effortlessly in the 8mans.

Instead in maybe 15 drops we lost about 4-5 times, twice to you guys, in a bunch of mediocre to awful mech chassis'

You can't really expect to rack many wins with such mech composition, but the funny thing was that we we were pretty much even in our number of wins and losses (though I can't say about all the games before that, since I played only around 6-8 games this night). The amazing thing was that people just didn't expect to get steamrolled by fast cents, hunches, dragons and awesomes.

That name tells me nothing. Did you fight or go to the square? If you'd have fought, I'd have remembered you.

Something tells me the star league refuses to use very many missiles that need a lock on function. I can just see 5 centurions running up spamming SRMs the whole way... ya.... that's one way to stick it to the ECM. Unfortunately, for most players erhm us pugs... we don't have the luxury of knowing who and or... what... we are dropping with generally meaning : He who hath more ECM // direct fire wins.

In more than half the battles I literally decide it best to just stand aside now. Thanks balance. makes me want to get in my SRM6 x6 A-1 and make the assaults / heavy / medium 'mechs know how my light feels.

Congratulations, you have been vaporized!

My only fear is that, is this how the game will continue to go in the future? I understand it's beta, I understand there's more to come... but really, will the game continue to flip flop like this... patty cake patty cake all day long?
