No..to unjam an AC you just waste a turn doing nothing while the autoloader clears the jam.

That one (the "Saimese .223" by Tromix Lead Delivery Systems) is really more the product of some gun maker being highly inebriated...
More practically, there is the Gryazev-Shipunov GSh-23 23mm Gast-type autocannon.
And, apparently, there is a new vehicle-mounted 152mm Gast-type cannon in development...

The RAC can unjam. The UAC can not. The RAC has an increasing chance of jam based on how many times you fire the weapon in a turn, the UAC has a 2.77% chance to jam on a double shot.

AN' DERE AIN'T NO SUCH FING AS ENUFF DAKKA, YA GROT! Enuff'z more than ya got an' less than too much an' there ain't no such fing as too much dakka. Say dere is, and me Squiggoff'z eatin' tonight!Translation It is widely accepted that the theoretical state of "too much dakka" is physically impossible. This implies that the state of "enough dakka" is equally impossible, as adding any more to "enough" creates "too much". Therefore, there is always room for More Dakka.

How an Ultra works is it double loads the magazine to fire 2 rounds similarly to a 20mm bushmaster chaingun on M3 bradley IFV(and I am referencing 2 rounds firing as fast as a chain gun not the entire AC ammo load). Its that double loading that causes the jam in the system THAT CANNOT BE CLEAERED IN A UAC(RAC u spend a turn and gunnery roll to clear and dismiss any attacks that round too)(Thanks TT or clearing thatu up before). Yes I know some variants had a "double barrel" config to handle the load and heat but over all it should not show a triple barrel system in the image.
And yes I am aware that rotarys are outside the time frame we are in. I was not making a comment to put them in the game I was making a comment based on the image they show for the AC in general being in accurate.
I want to thankyou all for showing the image of the HBK-4G in the mechlab but I was searching the purchasable mechs and didn't see it in my list. I will look a little deeper and see what I may have to do to unlock it.
I'm not some lame newb to the system. Pickup a core rule book and read for yourselves. I'll be glad to pull mine out and start naming pages if I have to.
I'm not looking for something where an artist cant be creative but be a little more true to the content of the source material. The Fasa miniatures always showed true to their variants of mechs.

Man, I really want an RAC5, or three.
Too bad they are well over a decade away canon-wise.

I am not sure when this change happened, but you can see it clearly on the Dire Wolf drawings:
old:
new:
So PGIs interpretation of the UAC5 is spot on. OP is behind on BT canon.

I'm going to let you in on a secret passed down from generation to generation of MWO players. I'm doing this in good faith, so I really hope you don't go spreading it around, cause the knowledge was bought with blood, sweat and tears by the very first pioneering mechjocks of MWO, so very long ago last summer.
To unlock the HBK-4G... you... buy it... with C-bills.
There, I said it. Now you know everything.

I want to know what was so gorram special about Martel Medium Lasers that made every. Single. Mech. Fit one... or more.
They found the secret recipe to making the most efficient weapon in Battletech. Of course everyone uses them.
