Is there a way to turn off the joystick within the user.cfg, allowing me to define it entirely from the software? (not all of the programming on stick side is getting into to mwo)

I'm wondering if anyone knows this, also, would like to use Xpadder to define xbox controller buttons but in MWO it is detected as a joystick and thus functions improperly
