why dont people read and find out before they post?






how do we not have an "ammo dump" game mode?

simple. there is a LOT to be done, that they havent yet. the game is now only the tip of the iceberg.

I could not agree more. Game types like this would help curb abusive behavior by segments of the community. Like LRM/SSRM2, or ECM fueled Raven 3L teams base rushing. Many currently have a problem with ECM, but I say it's more the current (and only) game type that is causing the problem. The construct of the mode is too open for violation, and I'm actually super shocked PGI hasn't been more aggressive at getting a new game mode into the mix. I know their plan is not to charge for such things (for obvious reasons), but considering MWO has only ever had one type of game is ridiculous at this stage. This and properly matchmaking should be the top priorities.

What I like about this idea is that it makes HANDS usefull. You need mechs with hands to haul the shipping containers back your dropship. And that brings us one step later to melee (yay!).

CW is going to be something completely different (and it's far away). The OP + some suggestions in this thread would make for a fun alternative game mode in the foreseeable future.

One side raids and then exits, one side defends, then it's flip flopped. Best time wins with bonuses for tonnage left alive, etc. Easy.
