If you are referring to an ability to rename your mechs after you purchase them and set them up, I agree, also the ability to rename them and save them by name with different load outs, that way when I want to change my Atlas from brawler to LRM boat I don't have to spend several minutes doing it with my team waiting on me, just click the proper name.

I'd say netcode but yes, being able to change the name of our mechs would be nice.

How much would you pay to rename your Mech?
For me? Between 50-150mc
100mc is enough so people realize that they should take care in naming their mechs, but makes for a reasonable amount to change a couple letters. It'll also help people buy it that don't care "like oops i renamed by mech after my now recent ex-girlfriend... i guess i'll just leave it. Oh, it's only 100mc? ... well okay fine. it's worth it. Oh many i gatta buy mc, how much is it for mc, oh. only 7 bucks. and I can get some other stuff too.... sure. " and boom! you have a buyer all because he loved his girlfriend. So sadistic.. so wonderful...

Me too, because then PGI's attention is diverted from important matters to more trivial ones. But... it IS a business, so if this idea is somehow calculated to increase revenue by some significant margin, and the resource allocation to implement this won't overextend them, then we'll be seeing in the next patch.......

Naming/renaming a mech should not cost real money in my opinion. That would just be gouging. EDIT: I think netcode is a small fraction of infinity more important.
