No hard evidence here. But my CDAs Torso twist range got bigger when I unlocked elite so that one does seem to work for me. I also could fire my 6 MPLs a bit more often so the heat stuff seems to work too.

We know that the Twist X doesn't work for several mechs. The cicada was one of the mechs that was purportedly not working.

There was another thread somewhere....

Preety much a placebo as of some weeks ago. Yet nobody seems to be interested in the 2x bonuses, as you can see from the # of replies to this post. I checked with some mechs back then, and everything i could measure wasn't doubled. As i don't really play right now due to ECM and other issues, i can't confirm the current status, but i'd bet my *** that they didn't fix anything about that.

Speed is not a basic advancement, it is an elite skill.

I've been wondering this myself - it would be nice to get a Dev answer. Did anyone think to ask this in the latest Ask the Devs thread?

I can confirm that the heat generation of an alpha strike from my laser hunch back dropped from about 41% to 39% after achieving elite status. My Raven's torso twist speed also got noticeably faster. My over all impression has been that they are working but apart from those two cases I can't present any empirical evidence to back that up. It's possible that some parts of it are working and others are not.
