So you are then actively condoning not just r.ape jokes, but threats of real life sexual violence against female gamers, as "humor"? I take it from your post and the posts of support from other KAOS members that this is indicative of the sort of gaming group you are as a whole.

Your behavior is absolutely abhorrent and no I will make no such agreement to not throw your own disgusting filth back in your faces at every available opportunity. If you don't like it, then clean your house, starting with cartman.

On the other side, I can see why he's trying to stop the discussion; he must be awfully ashamed under the surface. It's quite impressive how Kaos implies that the WOL is doing "damage/spin control" on what was honestly a really fun and well-played, if entirely unexpected, match.

It was a good fight, Kaos achieved a victory they fought hard for and earned, and I'm pleased with how all the WOL guys handled themselves, too; I know I certainly didn't expect to be fighting off a pair of ravens in a cicada, having anticipated goon hunchbacks/centurions!

The real "damage/spin control" going on is the insistance that we look away from some pretty crazy and unprovoked misogynistic, threatening comments. They weren't some crude jokes for internal consumption, they were right there in the public chat, and were pretty ****** up and personally directed.

We can't just ignore that ****.

Does Kaos have any female members, and if so how do they feel about one of their own spouting grape jokes all willy nilly like it ain't no thang?

I don't dislike kaos ferreals, after all they did just hand us Goonies this one opportunity to be the upright moral ones for once.

Pages 5 and onwards go completely downhill. Lem, Ika - suddenly your posts go in a different direction and derail this thread.

I understand your concerns. Wouldn't these concerns be better handled privately between people concerned rather than in an open forum? Any solutioins, too, would be best served privately. I don't think this is what the purpose of the forums are for.

We can possibly all agree that PGI and the moderators would not want the forums to devolve as it has in this thread.

The video was moved here by a moderator to the off-topic - the OP clearly states it's to show a great match between two great teams.

I think we all know that behavior goes well beyond trolling, and has nothing to do with 'humor' whatsoever. We have a pretty thick skin but someone who says "Hey tank boy ken, I'm about to **** your woman in her throat" is going way, way, over the line. The fact that your team was there in the match and didn't do anything to stop it is also very discouraging.

If you want us to move beyond this issue we need to see an actual sign of remorse. An apology from Cartman, and preferably whoever was leading your team at the time would be a good way to show that Kaos doesn't endorse that sort of behavior.

edit: fellow goons lets try to call off the dogs until we give them a time to respond.

WoL are not adverse to putting this behind us, and as others have stated we have no overarching animosity toward KAOS apart from the specifically cited actions of cartman726 and the perceived support of that by many KAOS members on the forums. If this is something that KAOS leadership wants to be done with, then sure, let's talk. If there are parts of that you don't want to be done in the off-topic forum than PM me or Pringles, but understand that this is absolutely considered to be a serious issue among us.

This is lame. Lets get one thing straight. That chat box is not from the match we have a video up of. I haven't decided if your pulling up screen shots from months ago now to counter a video or not. Considering 99% of us didn't know any of that stuff ever happened you guys screaming about it now is nothing short of just return fire. We had a fantastic game with a fantastic, well-played opponents: Goonz. We're happy to share this video of us just barely squeaking by these great guys! Let's focus on the video and this great fight with a top-notch competitive unit.

I hope you guys enjoyed watching it as much as I did!

If you guys get a few posts explaining with out the screen shots that keep getting delited then maybe they can be informed of this past transgression and it might not seem like defending. Normally logging on and seeing a flame war with a team mate when yours keep getting delited is a little misleading.

Grow up, get a job, learn how to define real life from a game. If those comments are real and not photoshoped, then sure they are in poor taste, but a real life threat..really?

From what I understand you all have started to actually engage in real life activity against Cartman. I am pretty sure I could find in the past or encounter future comments from "Goons" that is in poor taste and "real life threatening". Does that mean I can construe comments you make in a game or forum to me as a real life threat and act on it outside the game?

Do you seriously want to start making people feel like they are being threatened in real life? Do you understand what happens in real life when people are threatened or harrassed outside the game?
