[Captain Stern]

Hi all, Captain Stern here, or as I am known in other places on the web...Extreme Costumes. I am currently building a 9'6" Warhammer, about 5' wide at the arms. I'm wondering if anyone has ever built any of the mech from BattleTech/Mechwarrior before ? I have long had a love of giant robots and have used this passion to build many giant robots. recently, I decided to build a WH, I'm hopinbg to use it to compeate in Masquerades at Anime cons or in Halloween costume contests. I hope to update this thread with photos of my progress or links.

Here is one depicting how much I have got done, as you can see I have had to enlage the PPC gunarms...this is because of there real world function...as Vortex Guns...they will shoot rings of smoke ( I hope ) about 30', also not depected. I have both thighs done.
My goal is to be done by mid July, hopefully in time for San Diego Comiccon. I know this sounds like a big project, but I have a long history of making Giant Robots.
I am posting here because I know you all share my love of Mecha. I am wondering if anyone knows of any real world bots from the MW universe ?
