I will make sure to pull back when im in my atlas and cata when your around, but hey I feel better to die to friendly fire then to let the enemy get the kill.

That may be wise.

:D

In the meantime I'm making it a priority to increase my situational awareness. I probably could have seen the hunchback coming but I was as intent on the kill as he was.

Absolutely brilliant post!

Bravo Sir! Bravo!

Best post I've read! As another user said, when I die I want you to write the eulogy!

Cheers!

Dasht

Edit:

Posted this in another thread but, for what it's worth:

"I've also taken FF in the heat of battle. Usually you don't know who just hit you so it really doesn't matter anyway. However, I have run in front of or between a teammate and his/her target. Fortunately I don't think I've forced a TK. And who's fault is it if I get hit by a friendly in that circumstance: Entirely my own. I'll never point the finger of blame at anyone but myself if I charge into your line of fire and get hit by you."

Just a thought.

PS (as i've already posted above)

I hope that you don't mind but I've copied your epic into a word doc so that I may keep it and enjoy reading it again.

This post is also a bump so that your work may be enjoyed by others. Frankly I think this should be pinned?/stickied? Whatever, it needs to no get burried in the noise!

Cheers and Thank You!

I had no idea that something as well thought out and entertaining as what you have written could even exist on these forums. Bravo.

Sticky, please.

As Lanessar reads
the wails and lament
of bitter tears of fear and regret
a bright gem he sees
shining amidst hopes dashed, worlds torn asunder
and laughs
as the spirit of play is alive.

Well written! :)

TKs are mostly Murphy at work. No serious players go around killing teammates on purpose. Its a mess out there and with faster mechs circling your target or coming into your line of fire suddenly, FF simply cannot be avoided. I've my fair share of FF and TK and now, I dun lament when I get my -15K neither do I blame the guy who did it to me because its never on purpose. In the military, we were all trained to respect lines of fire and that alone took a long time to get right, what's more a bunch of untrained and uncoordinated mechwarriors eager for the kill like hungry vultures.

Lulz for all! If killing your teammates brings this kind of funny, I hope you shoot a few more.
