would anyone like to see a "king of the hill" game type?

1 position. first to hold it for X time or get X points from it wins

to make it more interesting the position can move after a certain amount of time/points.

so the plan would be to get your lights there asap to get the initial hold.
mediums and heavies come shortly after to help fend off any enemies
assaults eventually show up. and start blowing everything up.

naturally it wont be as simple as that.
but i think it would be nice to have

I think you would need to implement some sort of limited respawn to make it work well.

might work. seems more balanced than conquest though, which can easily turn into squirrels chasing squirrels across the map, hunting down stragglers and simply surrendering heavily contested caps in favor of open ones, basically never fighting anything you can run away from and forcing the enemy to either spread themselves thin trying to defend multiple caps (at which point you isolate and overwhelm) or spend the entire match desperately chasing after something that moves much faster than they do.

Conquest is going to be a fight to cap 1 point, pretty much how king of the hill would work. Everyone fighting over the odd cap point. Depends on how it's laid out but for the most part the flow of battle will eventually work itself towards that once people learn how it functions on each map and they determine "routes".

Lights will probably try to ninja cap, but for the most part that's what I foresee. I would much rather have an attack/defend style of game mode with an actual base with defenses and some thought put behind the game mode as well as some testing.
