god, why are eurplean players so entitled? you don't see them providing times for EST, Atlantic, Newfoundland, Moscow, Australia, etc. Everyone else has to figure it out. Why do they "need" to provide a GMT translation?

Apart from the fact that i said ALL major zones....

They don't "need" to provide all the times just like they don't "need" to put up patch notes before patches. It's just handy mkay..

There are four timezones used in Europe. Moscow is in one of them. Don't spread hate, it's common to express time in international standards like GMT or UTC - especially when the playerbase is situated around the globe. Anyway, you can see the timezones and their adjustments in the map below.

Timezones are expressed in GMT +/- 1-12 hours, thus if you're only going to give one timezone, GMT makes the most sense as more people will be able to rapidly convert it to their own timezone.

Also, if you're going to class all of Europe as being entitled to the GMT timezone, you need to realised that GMT is only used by a couple of European countries (United Kingdom, Spain etc) and the rest are GMT +1-4 hours ... so it's more UK/Spain being entitled (Also, Europe has a higher population than North America, so the self entitlement could be considered deserved).

Anyway, I also agree that a couple of extra timezones would've been nice in the original post - but seriously, it's not much of a fuss to convert it in your head / use google to do it for you.

there is a STANDARD that comes from Greenwich having latitude zero. thus all times should be given in regards to Uk time zone. this game is, finally, using **** sapiens measurement units (meters, tons, kilometers). why not keeping this universal spirit in mind also in this boards?
