My 2 Cent:
First thought: PLEASE NOT
then saw Paul's answer
YES he is right...
After reading some posting... there maybe only ONE Option for Repairbays:
You got Combat fixed, this means you pay lot of money for Armor patches,
which hold 50% of the original Armor.
And you pay twice the Price of normal repairs.
And you get Ammo refill, with twice of RnR Ammo Costs.
This would mean: a Heavy Mech lost a Arm and some of his Heatsinks on the Side torso,
he will get his Armor repaired ( would be around 30k x 2 = 60k) but he will get only half the strengh of the lost Armor back.
And he will get his AMS replenished and his AC ammo.
For this he has to walk back 2 Minutes into Repair station Powerdown and get repaired.
After this he will be still short of a Arm a Heatsink and some Armor points.
After the Combat he will still have to Pay proper Repairs.
So first of all: System would only work when RnR is reintroduced.
Second: It shall be expensiv and somehow relastic not the Stuff we had in MW3/4
So Ammo restock and Combat patches only. Both is expensiv as you have to pay
combat Bonus to the Tech's.
But when PGI introduce it this way... all will scream TO EXPENSIV.
And that will be the Reason we will never see Repair Bays.
Because they need to be expensiv, players will dislike them for that,
so other things have a much higher Priority.
