just witnessed a Player one shot 4 Mechs in a Row, after he had one shot my Mech which had taken hardly any damage previously...

he had taken another kill within seconds of killing me, then took another 2 kills in very short succession...

I refuse to believe that they were all head shots aimed by a Human Player, no one is that good...

Ive done it before in an dual AC/20 K2 Catapault. It's not that amazing of a feat if you are somewhat proficient at aiming and know the location of a mechs cockpit. Light mechs die in 1 shot from the same set up as well.

I think I have been a victim of Soarra's a few times over...And have had him on my team a few times for that matter...

yep I already sent in a ticket with the name of the player, if it was Legit fine, but seems to good to be true if you ask me, I would say within about 10-15 seconds all 4 were dead...

4 Head shots in a row? Childs play

I raise you, 5 in a row with an AC20 cat.

Aimbots will happen, I have not seen anything glaringly obvious but, as Kunae said: Screenshot, report. You can post here to vent if you like, but expect the usual responses.

And yes, some people are just that good. Not saying "it wasn't an Aimbot" but "that guy just killed 6 people" is not an automatic indicator of such.

Yeah, within 15 seconds is bs, that was over a period of about 2.5 minutes of combat and tbh those guys we played had a habit of standing still.

I still thought it was pretty cool I got 5 headshot kills in a row.

To paraphrase Jadzia Dax from Star Trek Deep Space 9:

"Just because you can't do something doesn't mean it can't be done".

Or, if it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck, the most likely explanation is that it is a duck. :)

I find it extrememly rare that anyone headshots me. It might be because I make it hard for them.... but the mechs I find easy to headshot are... cata (both types) and awesomes. I dont own any of those... which could be why I never get headshot.

Aimbots are the absolute bane of any skill based game and will quickly kill a population if not handled promptly.

Perhaps they should make violating the "Terms of Service" a criminal act. So if someone choses to violate the code, crime!

I've done this at close range in my D-DC using AC20 + 3 SSRM's + 2 MPL. Also done this with same mech but swaped out the AC20 for 2 LBX 10. Happend last night even. I am always surpised. I think it was more like 20 -25 seconds though. I think the AC's and MPL's remove the Armor before the SSRM's impact the internals. Either that or lots of people being stupid using XL engines while bralling with an Atlas at close range.

Yeah...XL engines. If you have a powerful alpha and run into 4 or more players with XL engines simple l or R torso hits can end it.

Running an aimbot in this game is roughly equivalent to using performance enhancing drugs as an athlete in the special olympics. What is the point? :)

Been tried and you really, really, REALLY do not want that. You do NOT want private enterprises or even private citizens to have the power to make it a criminal offense to do anything they don't want you to do because of some terms of service you may not even have seen.
