As silly as it sounds they ended it at 10 AM PST. Got home from work planning on buying 50 bucks worth and did not cause the sale ended while I was at work.

That means PGI lost 100 buck just on us. They really need to see that somehow to plan the sale better next time. I really like the game and want to see it succeed, which I think it will.

They ought to look at Steam sales for an inspiration. Have sales on specific mechs or even equipment/weapons etc at times,...Steam pwns me. I'll buy stuff all the time there. Why? Because I don't frrl like I'm being shimmied. It feels like a good deal at steam.

There is stuff that I want for this game, but a lot of times, it just doesn't feel like a good deal. That INCLUDED the 20% bonus to MC.

Yes they did, but you have you ever heard of a sale ending at 10am? If anything the sales ends on close of business of the ending day. They just lost money they would have had otherwise by following an industry standard.

@verybad; I like the way steam does it to, especially with the countdowns on short sales. PGI should have had that sales plastered all of there front page, forums, and any other well traveled page on their site with a count down since it ended on a weird time.

I am sure that would have drastically increased their sales and profitability of the sale, thats all.

Tice, did you notice it ended not just on the 18th, but at 10am on the 18th? When everyone was still at work. That's the point, it is a weird time to end a sale.

Same thing here i was gonna drop 50 on some more mc and got home to find the patch had wiped out the sale... i was disappointed, but i can wait until the next sale or prices to go down a little.

Yep I noticed. I tried to buy it as well on the 15th and the service that they are using which is Playtime Unlimited botched my sale. I tried to see if I could repurchase it and the sale was gone at 10AM. It happens. However their will be more sales. No sense crying over spilt milk as the old saying goes. Just wait and see what happens. And remember if you experience a problem with a sale, report it to PGI so that they can investigate it further.

It teaches us all not to be greedy, and spend time with our loved ones on Christmas, rather than playing MWO.
