the indicator lights for the missle doors are not working on the Catapult... the dots on the cockpit window bars are just red... there is no illumination when open, green... or closed, yellow... the sound effect plays but there is no visual

i don't have any other mechs like the Centurion or Stalker to check to see if those missle door indicators are working

Which Cat variant, and what is it loaded with? Perhaps more importantly; does the button to open/close your earflaps still work?

I'll check my Centurion in a moment and update.

EDIT: Okay, so my Centurions (A and AL) don't even have an indicator light anymore. It still chirps, and the doors still toggle, but the light is gone.

Hm. Didn't think to check on cockpit brightness settings to see if that's what it is, though...

EDIT2: Nope, not the cockpit brightness settings. Or at least not directly.

Can anyone confirm for the other Cat variants and the Stalker?

Cat A1 with SRM's. Lights are tiny and don't light up/change color. Button works, doors open, just no indication.

The Stalker also lacks indicator lights, even though it has missile bay doors too.

Same as above, all centurion variants are missing the indicator lights, missile bay doors can be toggled open. Stalker is also missing indicators.

I have never seen the indicator light. I always went by sound.

For the last few patches there have been tiny indicator lights on the A-pillars of Catapults and Centurions that indicated launcher door status. Yellow is closed, green is open. The Centurion had one on the left, the Catapult had one on either side.

This was one of my complaints, they're not very noticeable at first... the Centurion one isn't even on screen when looking centered.

There should be a proper indicator in HUD.
NOT composed in Mech interior.

I can confirm the indicators missing on Founder's Cat, Cat C4 and Cent AL. The lights were barely distinguishable perviously. Now they're entirely defunct.
I'd like them restored in a more distinguihshable way or, even better, an indicator added to the HUD (similar to the ECM symbols).

I'd actually like it if the mech interior was used more, gives better immersion imo. Its just the placement that needs to be changed, so that it remains visible.

I have the same problem with the missledoors/lights on my Cat C4. Didn't check the others yet.
It is equipped with 2 LRM15+Artemis, Ammo in both ears, SSrm in both arms, 1 medpulselaser, Tag, 2JJ's

Hope that will help you

The weapon bay door indicator lights broke with the last patch and should be fixed next patch.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

The weapon bay door toggle still works however. And they start closed each match.

I'm colorblind, so I couldn't tell if they were open or shut with the light prior to this patch anyway.

Thomas:

Glad it's fixed, but could you make the colors more distinct? Yellowish green vs green wasn't particularly useful, even for those of us who aren't colorblind.

Perhaps the light could just be on or off?

Probably better to put the info into a small diagram on one of the MFDs. If '/' is used to change the state of the door, it should bring up the MFD display to show a diagram of the current state of the doors after the state-change.

First '/' - MFD Shows 'open door'icon
Second '/' - MFD shows 'closed door' icon

Any use of '/' after doors destroyed = 'destroyed door' icon.
