I think that your sensors should begins to detect the effects of ECM before it completely enters its bubble. Maybe 50-100m out. It could be displayed by a flickering HUD, heard as an electric buzzing in the cockpit, and or Betty could just tells us, "Warning, Electrical Countermeasures Detected".

That might give me just enough time to haul *** in my Jenner before that Raven runs around the corner and tries to streak me to death.

You really think that Betty will be able to help you? The short messages are already too much for the Voice to handle.

example:
Jumpjet at twentyf...Jumpjets depleted
Right torsto criti...Right torso destroyed (Followed by a whole list of weapons, heatsinks and ammunition destroyed while the rest of your mech is picked apart)
