I have the same problem, I am in wenzhou, zhejiang, china. dont know who my provider is, the connection was setup with the school i work for and as everything is in Chinese, there is not much that i know or can do here.
I hope MWO will address this quickly and an update from them would also be nice.
This is keeping me out of the game, i cannot get past the mechlab at all.
Quite frustrating as I love this game.
Come on MWO, tell us, how are you progressing on this issue? when can we ( I ) get back into the game?

Kudos to PGI for making it easier to aim with high ping, but all is for naught if we can't even start a match

Australia weighing in here. I've never had this problem before and I've been playing for a few months.

My tracert for mwomercs.com also ends at 70.42.24.132

Ahh Internode....I was playing this for months with no problems with Optus and Optus exchange, moved house and changed my ISP to Internode on a Telstra exchange.

Ever since my connection to the game was steadily getting worse with the "Session Lost" and a few other disconnect errors to a point where I could only complete 1 in 5 games if I could connect at all. This weeks patch though has spelt the end for any connectivity. When I log in my credits load but that's it...it will hang for a minute then "session Lost". After 50 attempts I have had ZERO success in logging and loading the main screen.

Edit: I tried what was suggested earlier and hit Menu-Logout before the session was lost and then on my next attempt I got as far as having my mechs and mechlab load. All the stuff normally in the middle of the screen about the new hero mechs etc failed to load. I managed to launch a game but I received "Session Lost" immediately after the game started.

Hate to say it but I'm just glad its not just me. lol. I was getting frustrated as hell until I saw/read this page. I'll just try again in the am. We all know how "patch" day can sometimes be more of a pain in the aft section that a blessing.

And when I brought this up, right after the update on 3/14, no one believed it wasn't my computer/ IP equipment... I really wasn't kidding, and in the last day or so, I am ok as long as I take an 'owned' mech and not a trial one... haven't played yet today so I don't know if its dealt with on my end, if not I will try to get the info to support, and see if that helps any better... It is nice to know I'm not the only one, I was starting to think I wasnt going ever hook up with a group, I don't know what this issue looks like to other people, and as far as I know, you just become akf...

I have seen pings in the 2-3k range, a couple of times I had it, when entering the fight, I have taken to warning that I am going to lose session when I see a high ping, I dont want people to think I am bailing out on every fight.... talk about a massive frustration

so far after a few fights when I would have seen at least 2 sessions lost, I had none with either trial or owned mechs... yay, now if it just stays this way, I may some some real dollars into mwo

I have now seen others pinging out of game at 2k+ still, the issues are not fixed yet, at least not entirely.

Now that the patch is done, its not as exciting and I'm not seeing the issue nearly as much, are we not still overloading the servers mebbe?

I've been getting connection problems as of late as well.
Which is odd,because my ping is normally between 15-30ms. 64ms at the most.

Same here, haven't playd in a while. My connection comes from Finland, so that could be the issue, but this haven't occured before. My ISP is Sonera.

This most certainly isn't answered whatever the title states.

I've always had the session lost problem but up until today I'd play 7-8 games before seeing it, restart and I'd be good to go for another 7-8 games.

Today I've have session lost 4 from 4 right from the start - get into game, get about 30 seconds play then it freezes - session lost.

Same here. No problems every. And since the patch, I have had multiple session time-outs, crashes while in game, nothing working in game(zoom/weapons, etc). Not fun at all.

Yeah...never had any connectivity probs but since one hour or so the game isn't playable any longer...lag up to 15 seconds.

Same here. I had a connection loss during the game and now in the last game, i could move around and the others didnt see me! Had the possibility to fire but not counted. The enemy team was asking: "Whre is he?" and I was in the middle amongst them. Very funny ...
Anxious now to start a new game. Want help my teammates and not games w/out damage.
Since the patch today. Bought premtime and now this. What the heck...
