The orion has always proven to be a sturdy but board mech and iv enjoyed it when it popped up in a few MW games in the past. I suspect in MWO you will see it standard issue with 2erppc/1gauss but its got some solid missile slots allowing for it to be a pretty well rounded support mech, im hoping it will have a good manuverability (in terms of turn rate/torso twist radius) to be in better line with how the original was treated more as a brawler (Lrms to soften up the other guy, then pound him to dirt with ac/laser/srms) but we will see.

ON-2M with 1 extra energy hard point = Marauder loadouts!! oooh yeah........... that's going to be a time/c-bill sink if it should happen

not a big BT guru either but from the concept art it looks like it'll be taller than a cataphract so it probably won't have as much of a gorilla arm issue when trying to fire over hills etc. It also has a rather balanced loadout so you can have weapons for all ranges and travels at 64 Km/h which for heavies is a pretty decent speed.

After all, lore states a "spacious interior" as one of its quirks.

You can already do marauder loadouts with the Cataphract-3D
Argh, you can't simulate a marauder. You need the look of it. I like especially the redesigned one of Shimmering-Sword:

Who said "not anymore"? If I didn't miss something they just changed the schedule and we should get the Orion later.

just wait for the variants...There's a reason i left the rims around the medium lasers thick.
Alex, can you tell us what the hell happened to cause the Orion to be delayed 3-4 MONTHS when PGI had, what, over six months to finish it?

I just meant no Orion this release. I'm bummed because it was one of my favorite TT mechs and the 18th is my birthday. So I thought it was a happy coincidence. I'll get it when it comes out, but the excitement for it has faded with the delay.
