Yeah, the FASA writers had a lot of explaining to do with a lot of those dismal TRO "sketches". I have a feeling I'm going to like your ON1-M Orion. Thanks for the response, your 'mechs are magnificent.

Thank you.
I feel better now.
Can we put this next in line? :-)
Is one of the arms going to shoot SRMs in other variants? That would be a great nod to the artwork!

2 LL, 1 in each arm and then my choice of a Gauss in the right or duel SRM 6 in the left. Should be able to do 85KPH as well.

Heros seem to be chosen from/created in the current era of the timeline. Kerensky is way too early in the timeline, plus his Mech carried a snub-nosed PPC, which won't be available for a long time.

Theodore's Orion was the stock config, not something with unique hardpoints.
I can't think of any 3050-era "heros" with unique Mech configurations.

I was questioning the left arm myself until I double-checked the record sheet. I'm glad you made the correction and look forward to seeing the variants. I'm a little iffy on the size of the cockpit glass but think it is excellent work overall.

Though I never realized before how the Orion is just an anemic Atlas. I suspect we'll see plenty of these going down in flames in about a year when it makes it in-game.

The primary Orion is indeed a downgraded Atlas. But there are lot of variants, some with missiles+lasers in the arms. Also, the better speed should make it a good brawling opponent for the Atlas.
PS: I hope the cockpit hitbox is not too large beacuse this mech i's supposed to be good at taking damage.
