75 ton multipurpose heavy? Sounds cool to me. Will be interesting to see how it stacks up against the Cataphracts that will be its closest competitors.

Doesn't seem to have many hardpoints, though. But a "fast" 75 ton mech is quite good.

My thoughts

yes it's a multipurpose mech but you have 2 Missle Hardpoints, 1 Ballistic, 2 Energy Hardpoints,
So you can make a Low Heatsink effiency Configuration, like 2x lrm 10, 2xmpulse +AC 10 lbx for close combat
or anything else.

Again a Mech for good Peripherial Hardware... a 4 Button Mouse seems required for him to unlock his potential.

Why does the cockpit take up so much space in Orion?
Without any prior knowledge you could trick me into believing it's a light mech.

PGI's redesign of the mech mostly look great, but the really drop the ball on the size. First Centurion being too big, then Stalker being only slightly bigger than catapult, and now we have Orion, which has its cockpit takes up almost as much proportion of the mech as Commando.

Love it. Another classic example of a great mech with a strong back story that never really looked the part, due to RPG books in the 80's looking like RPG books from the 80's. The MWO redesign looks awesome imho, I hope it plays as well.
