Why Not Make Conquest Purely Point Based?

I like combination idea of the games goes to 750, and when you die you get to take another mech from your mech bay (hot dropped of course) onto your main base or controlled point. Owned mechs spawn once per game and trails are unlimited.

Adds more strategy in taking points and holding choke points. Gives a reason to build a stable of owned mechs (a win for PGI) with different purposes to counter other teams strategies - fast to run around or assault to push back.

Throw on some SRM turrets / medium lasers (range of 270 meters) around the main base so it can't be camped and presto! Okay maybe the last part isn't needed. ;)

Well, after you kill me and my team, you can safely harvest all the germanium you want! TOTALLY EPIC WIN :)

If you don't kill me you only get 750 germanium. EPIC DISAPPOINTMENT :)
