I can relate with the obvious frustration when you see someone else cheating at a game you play for fun. even if it is in your team it is the same.

I am mod on another online game and we can ban only if our anti cheat systems provides us a proof. otherwise we can't do anything. i think that pgi should develop ASAP a system anticheat and start using it..as beta even...but using it...cause things will get worse soon.

Man.. I can understand your anger, I hate cheaters as well. Everyone does.. I reported guys too and got a automatic answer. But to be very honest.. I too still trust PGI. I like those guys, somehow I have the feeling that they truly care about MWO.. heck, you can see they play their own game often.

Its possible that your cheater tried the hack the first time. Thats why his KD statistic wasnt ****** up YET. When PGI watches him.. and he continues to hack he will be banned for sure.

AHh **** you all, I hate coming to these forums. I aint coming no more,

You'll all learn.

As someone said, PGI made plenty out of the founders, WHy would they give a ****. Seriously. I stand corrected on yellow screen though, I saw yellow on one of my teammates and 'thought' it was him too.

STILL, I WATCHED THIS FOR EASY 3 minutes! I'M 100% I SAW A AIMBOT IN USE! You know i dont have fraps running 24/7 mate!!!!! jesus lol.

As i say, Bye fellow MW's, I'VE WARNED YOU YOU CHOICE TO IGNOR/NOT LISTEN/DEFEND PGI, Gulible nieve people everywhere. Sad state of this world!

Bye

If your in a game with famous rapper dr ... (Mr beats) and you get chance look, You'll see. ALL MY TEAM SAW IT!

You don't need to run it 24/7, just have it ready to go, when you spot a hacker, turn on the recording,

such a simple step (and free with MSI afterburner) if you aren't willing to do something so simple to help improve this game, that say alot about how much you want this game/community to improve

"When someone has yellow screen of death, YOU SEE IT WHEN YOU DIE AND LOOK FROM THERE MECH"

Except no, I've had teammates report my screen is yellow plenty of times when I was fine.

I play with my brother and a friend using the c3 program. I can't count the times I've heard them say I have a yellow screen when I'm fine or the other way around.

We understand your frustration, but PGI cannot go by what people just "say".

I could call you a hacker and aimbotter and cheater. That doesn't make you one, nor is it "proof" even if I happen to be an expert on the subject.

Send them screenshots or video.

Even if they decide you are right, do not expect them to tell you. For legal reasons they usually cannot. Mostly because if it turns out it WASN'T a cheater, the person affected could sue for libel or slander.

The OP is a troll and is advertising hacks if you want my honest opinion.

i disagree. for every game that is there is someone who wants to cheat hack it. so mwo will have his hacks and ppl will use them. it cannot be avoided but things must be taken care sooner than later

How on earth can you be completely sure he was using a hack?

:) :)

Well, there are certain tests to GET sure my dear sire. :)

First and foremost is the swim-test. As we all know, cheaters are made...OF WOOD! So we bind a stone to their leg and throw 'em in a lake and if they float --> cheaters. If they drown they were innocent and the great god of the interweb will take care of their digital soul!

So I usually get 1-2 matches a day where i go 5-7 kills. I would be pretty pissed if I got banned because someone decided i was too good and must be cheating. I know there are aimbots out there but knowing someone did it cause you watched the laggy as hell spectator screen seems unfounded. My 2 cents

Screenshots, even videos can be manipulated. They may be an indication of hacking but its always up to the game operator to decide if a third party was used to gain an advantage over others. Its also normal to not receive an answer saying "Thanks for reporting him, we banned him based on your report.". Blizzard usually lets hackers go on for months and then bans them all at once periodically to throw them off guard which tools are detected and which aren't.

What we saw was him holding back and never actually getting near to a fight and his cursor JUMPING 1-3 centimeters NOT IN THE CENTER OF THE SCREEN BUT AROUND THE CENTER OF THE SCREEN! He had no 4FPS bug, No FPS spikes as his ping was wel below 100 and WHAT HAPPENED WAS CONSTANT! Fps spikes would not do this. BASICALLY IT WAS SO OBVIOUS ITS UNTRUE! I RECCOMEND YOU LOOK OUT FOR THIS ON YOUR TEAM!

THe guy was SEEN USING BOTS BY MY WHOLE TEAM! 2 others of which i rolled with. There IS NO DOUBT IN THIS AT ALL, not even 1%, They do exist although some people think they know better (and show how clueless they really are). I'm from this industry, clandestine you may say, so i know!

FYI:  Ping has nothing, zero, zip, nada to do with the 4FPS bug
Also: What you see and what they see are NOT the same.  I've been on TS with team mates and thought they had a yellow screen but when I mentioned it they said 'no it was fine'.

Yes, there are aim-bots, we all know this.  But your 'evidence' is flawed in this one simple way:
You do not see the same thing they see.  You are a spectator and on a low priority feed.  You may see a yellow screen while theirs is perfectly clear.  Or they could be sitting at the dreaded black screen or frozen screen where they can hear stuff going on around them but can't see anything and you can see just fine.

to be honest this is one of the few games where the advertised hacks wouldn't really help you that much as aiming isn't really much a problem in this game as much as controlling your heat/ammo useage and controlling the movement of your mech having a hack most likely wouldn't turn a bad player into a great one

I have seen the exact same hack. In fact it almost sounds like the same game, though it was not. I ran game severs for many years and exposed many hackers. This was a aimbot and there is no doubt about it. Fortunately for us it seems to be a rather lousy one at this time. Because in this game just because you get hit doesn't mean you die, as it can take many hits from a set of small lasers to kill a heavy mech. I didn't have any tools running in which to record what I was seeing so I didn't report anything. Hopefully next time I will.

Goodbye IG 88

I mentioned a Gamebot name and removed it because it is a break Code of Conduct doing such things.

And there are other Aimbot out there as well

Possibly, yes. However, a cheater trying to not get caught would certainly be mindful of this, and try to mitigate it's obviousness.

This got me thinking... could it have anything to do with random people firing right at the start of the game in to the rocks... every other match somebody does... I always wondered why...
