I was wondering if anyone knows where I could find and download the sound effects of MechWarrior 4 from? I would like to replace some of my generic windows audio files with them, but can't find anything. I have the audio files from MechWarrior 2, but the ones from 4 are higher audio quality and I just prefer the way they're done generally speaking.

Additionally, do we know if the devs plan to release the audio files for MWO at some point in the future?

Wrong thread. You score -471 points for attention to detail.

@OP: Apparently the answer is no. You might try extracting them yourself. Failing that, check Mektek.
