I noticed last night, that with Elite efficiencies unlocked, my basics now have a 2x below. Im assuming that means the effects of these efficiencies are double? And if so, does the same work for elite, when I unlock Master?

Yes, your basics are doubled now. No, it doesn't work that way for elite.

Thanks, bit of a shame. A 10% increased fire rate would have been nice

No kidding. A 20% speed tweak wouldn't be too bad either. Which is probably why they settled on only doubling the basics.
