Greetings Templars

I'm a new initiate, but an old mech driver. I was there when FASA delivered the gospel of the Battletech universe. I spent the hours painting my mech miniatures and landscaping table tops and dreamed of piloting a multi-ton behemoth with ungodly firepower. It appears that MWO has has made achieved that just short of actually having A 65 ton TBOLT in my garage. I,m an ancient history buff as you may have gathered from the name despite necessary miss-spelling.
I have only been on MWO for about a month having bang-up good time learning by trial and a lot of error including blowing millions of credits playing with builds ( Smurfys?). Once i had a lance I could drop in faction I had the good fortune to drop with Templars on several occasions. They were curtious , helpfull, decisive, and brutally efficient. Would like give special mention to Octavius Rastas here. The unit name called to me and once I read the mission statement I was hooked. Hope I have found a home here and look forward to learning from and playing with you all.
