Head over to the merc corps recruiting page and find yourself a group. Most are very welcoming to new players, are on TS regularly, and you can at least get a 4 man group going. Playing by yourself, without chat, is never gonna be as rewarding as a coordinated effort with 4 or 8 people. Also, this would help bump up the amount of people using the 8 man queue.
