is this working as intended? you fire anything except for an srm and it immediatly fires. you fire an srm and half a second later the srms come out.

these things are already hard enough to use at any kind of speed, why build in firing lag?

When you experience the lag are you using a catapult or centurion? Those mechs have missile bay doors that need to open first before the missiles fire. This could be what you are seeing.

yeah, centurion. wish i would have known that before i bought it.

having a fast mech with lots of srm6s sounded awesome, but now it is useless.

^^what he said, i rebound mine to tilde for convenience.

srm will still have a minor split second lag but it is like a tenth of a second and can easily be adjusted for.

not a free shot but supposedly your armor is reduced by 10% when they are open.

You get firing lag on the AC weapons too, esp the AC20 and even on the PPC. there will always be some lag but opening the doors mitigates this alot. That lag should also only be on the first shot.

but the lag is split second. i have an ERPPC jenner and it is reasonable to compensate for even at 129kph.

i was being more specific by saying that the lag is very minor and can be corrected for on any mech.

any more stupid questions?

My post was directed at the OP who said that SRMs are THE ONLY thing that has any firing latency.

if you paid attention that was cleared up a while ago. it was confusion regarding weapon bay doors.

read something besides the OP.
