This is a big problem , the lack of advanced settings.I know many who don't play the game because they really can't.While i can run it , it works really bad.Atleast let me turn off shadows and post processing. Not everyone has a High-End pc.My question is if i can modify the game to stop it from showing shadows.I went thru settings.cfg and i found nothing usefull.

You might want to open your client, go to the options menu, look at the video settings section, then click advanced settings.

You will see both a shadows settings and post processing setting to tinker with.

Didn't they say low shadows and low post processing was equivalent to "off" now?

Well , then it's working bad for no particular reason.Let's take as example Crysis 2.I am able to run it at 1920x1080 at Medium settings. This at 1600x900 and low settings.Let's say War Thunder : 1920x1080 High settings.

If you want the popular explanation; "it's beta". If you want the proper explanation, it's because the game is currently not properly optimized.

If people are paying for something, then it isn't a beta, despitre what the 'seller' calls it.

You can still pay while in beta... In fact paying for stuff in beta can actually help the game get better. Also, you don't have to pay anything so....
