For all the mech bays I need.

Gonna be about $50 if I want to get every mech in the game right now. On top of the $80 in hero mechs i have... this game is still in beta and I don't want to reward you just becasue I want to collect them :)

Any chance we can get a cbill mechbay?

mechbays are one of the saner price-points in the game. they're also something you don't actually neeeeed, but really do want - thus quite a good thing for PGI to be charging MC for. Very happy for them to make money out of slots, now they just need to re-think their customisation costs!

Well like Ash used to say, "gotta catch em all."

I'm not paying money because I think the game is "good" I only want to have the mechs.

Don't get confused why you have my money I suppose :/

It doesn't sound like the cost of mech bays is really your main issue if you're busy buying all the mechs with MC as it is.

Yes, they should be putting the cost of a mech bay in WITH a hero mech or take the hit as incentive to buy a hero mech.

People who fill up with hero mechs are in a tight situation with mechbays.

I do agree with mechbays with the hero mechs, If someone pays mc for one of those mechs, they should get the mechbay with it. Other than that, Ah.. most likely no.

i got a founders account and i'm not spending MC on anything other then mechbays, all the mech i buy will be with c-bills.

I will never use MC to buy stupid things like cockpit decorations, why would i spend real money for virtual xmas lights? or some other useless items that dont affect the game at all? I know this is a trend in most online games to make money, the day i spend real money for virtual items that dont serve any purpose game wise i want someone to punch me in the face.

Cockpit items are actually more of a bang for your buck than the cam & colour mechanics the way they are.

AT least you get to keep your Top Hat and Christmas lights.

That is of course your choice to make. I bought some cockpit items because I like having them there. Nothing wrong with either choice.

Not happening. Devs need to eat too, and mechbay purchases are likely a big part of their revenue.

Good news is, you can buy three mech bays for the price of that lump of coal, with extra change.

Right, but you don't need copit items to play the game.

You don't need special camo.

You don't need hero or founders mechs.

You do, and will eventually NEED mech bays. For someone like me, who plans to pickup all the mechs it's gonna suck :)

My advice. Don't try to get every mech. I recommend sticking with a weight class so that you are not adjusting to the way each weight class handles everytime you swich up. This is a combat simulator where player skill makes the biggest difference. Practice and become proficient with one. As it is now, you start with 4. You need 3 variants to be able to unlock master. Now I'm still in basic myself (just finished my first, starting on my second) so I'm not sure if the following is true (I hope it is).

I'm hoping that once the xp is invested and I max out one of the variants, I can sell off the other two and still benefit from the invested xp with the last one. This way, with just the 4 starting bays, you can have two maxed out mechs.

The camo thing kinda disappointed me a bit. You have to pay for it per mech, not just pay to unlock. Even on a premium account.

Good marketing would be for people who are using MC to buy ANY mech, to have an option to pick up a Mech Bay for 100-200 MC, discounted from 300 part of their mech purchase. Maybe even push it to cockpit items where people buying a mech can pick up cockpit items over a certain cost, at a slight discount.

It would increase the amount of mechs bought with MC, and more MC trickling back to them.

MC mechs are a ripoff, stop buying them. This is not a troll attempt, I am being honest.

They cost too much, they force you to buy another mech slot, and you can never remove them if you find something you like more. Stop buying them.

Sorry dooder. I want mechs, a lot of them. I enjoy a lot of play styles.

Be nice if we could just have different varients of a mech once we bought it, so I don't have to have so many mechs; or spend 10 minutes stripping re-confinging every time i want something new.

But, on topic. Mech bays are fair priced for the avage player with 5-10 mechs.

But I already have 4 heros, and 16 c-bill mechs. Deleted a few earlier this week to make room for new dragon's and I'm still tight :/

Why? If they added the cost each hero mech would just be 300 more... Same as just buying a slot then the mech..

I agree. Getting a mechbay slot with a mech would be a waste for the more casual player who has open slots. I'm sure they are trying to hit that perfect price point to maximize sales and volume simultaneously.

They REALLY need to chop this fee and just make infinite garage slots. It's really stupid to gouge your users like this. You're already hitting them hard for any decent paintjob, hero variant boosts, Premium, and cockpit stuff. Do you really need to also gouge them for Mechbay slots? Why can't you just do it like League of Legends? There, hero slots are free, from 0 to infinity. Drop this stupid fee and refund all of us that bought slots. I'd like to buy hero variants or skins, but as long as this stupid fee is here, there's no reason to do that. I'll always want more rides and thus always have to drop MC for more slots. My 20k Legendary MC bank will eventually all go to nothing but mechbay slots. If you think I'm going to pay extra for that other stuff, you're wrong.

I'm thankful for the Cadet Bonus you've finally given to newer users, now take this to the next step and drop this slot fee too. Just let people have infinite Mechs. They will still want Premium, heroes, or all that other stuff. Gouging them isn't the way to go.
