I am still having issues with my ac20s registering damage on obvious hits, Only weapon i really see it with consistently. Its odd though I appear to be getting credited with the damage for it at the end of the game just the mechs dont appear to always take the damage.

its one of the slowest projectiles in the game...might have something to do with it in combination with the awful netcode we have currently

Most likely the netcode. Faulty hit-detection and laggy projectiles aren't exactly a new problem. It's something people have been bugging the PGI devs about for a while now.

I use an Ac20 Catapult, and one in my D-DC. I have often hit a target (once it was a Raven 3 straight up times) with hit register cross hair's but no damage at all on the paper-doll registered, this is definitely a netcode and server side auth issue. It also happens to SRM's in under 25m to a target in that they warp through the target before catching the armour on the other side of the mech (even from behind). Watch the video below you can see me kill the 2nd Commando, but both shots to my screen show them missing, just like my Cicada shot of which it seemed to register 1 of the 2 rounds.

All just something that needs to be fixed but given how resources are being devoted to baubles and new content, I would say keep hoping they finally get a real netcode programmer, until then I'll still headshot Catapults on a full run with my Aussie lag!
