Ratio is off. 20% is a model proven ideal ratio of premade team impact per public match.

In a 8v8 should have 2 man teams, in a 15 man match 3, in a 20 man match 4.

That is why they have so much influence.

Also, mark them a different color in the list you look at to see who is dead and alive etc. tab i think.. so we know when we have to deal with them, etc.

2 people are you serious?

Lobby for 12 man groups if you want a change don't make what we have worse.

I PUG all the time and never have an issue, take command and tell your group to huddle up in a grid square, magical things can happen.

Yep, 20%, or 2000 may become... gone. Do you have a logical reason as to why its bad?

90% of my text effort was / is ignored, which i find typical of online games so no worries, but telling my random teamamtes to camp a particular grid square....

whats wrong with you?

If you are all close together you can respond to the enemy threat, often 4 guys who THINK they can win all on their own. You can often turn it into an 8v4 situation and drop the premades before you take down their pug companions.

My group always coordinates with our pugs however so sorry that we use teamwork.

I do not understand the logic of 'NERF TEAMWORK!' in a game about teamwork.

Even with 2 player premades you would get roflstomped and be crying on the forums.

Its not the magic premade boogeyman who keeps whiping the floor with you, its simply your lack of skill and inability to organize a random group of players with the tools you have.

this.

you can work as a team without a microphone you just have to be the one to put the effort out there, hopefully other players will learn from your example.

Lemme guess - World of Tanks player?

There is plenty of Lore and Canon which states a Lance is a 4-man team. Why shouldn't a Lance be able to drop into a pick-up match? The game is fine as is. Often you are not being beaten by a premade team but by a team which is communicating (either via the free teamspeak servers like those in my sig) or via the horrible chat.

As such, your "proven ideal ratio" is both unimportant and uninteresting. I'm sure there are other games which are making up their Lore and Canon as they go along which you might find more to your tastes, however, those of us who love BattleTech and MechWarrior will continue enjoying dropping with our Lances.

This is just begging for a "learn to play" retort. Not sure if trolling...

I call you noobs, who if you did play a more skill based game like world of tanks, would want to have companies versus public matches.

Thank god that company has good business sense.

The christmas in beta before it released it had 12 k - 15 k users on christmas.

The game you want, the experience you want, isn't very popular.

I have a feeling whatever the pre-made limit is set at (as low as none), you SIXSIXSIX will just be bad at the game.

Just my 2p.

I've got this crazy idea.

You see, I play both PUG and Premade. I Premade with randoms, with 1-3 friends, and in whole 8man groups.
I've tried every mode of grouping and non-grouping this game has.

I'd like to see everyone else at least try all the different options before passing judgement.

No more "I PUG all the time because pre-mades are crap (even though I've never tried one)" and no more "I Pre-made exclusively because all PUGs can't find their *** with both hands".

Why don't you diehard PUGs at least give TS a try before you say everyone there is scum of the earth PUGstomping cursing a**holes, they should be in a separate queue, and/or they should be restricted to 2man groups.

So there is no place here for casual gamers? For the people that have done ts related organized gaming (and enjoyed it), and have decided to step back and play more casually after-the-fact?

I see.

I don't think you do. I often PUG all by myself without teamspeak and do quite well. I have also played every type of matchup in this game as well and have enjoyed all of them. I guess this is where the "learn to play" retort comes....

However, just because you don't like them does not mean pre-made 4-man teams are not having fun right. Your desire to wield the nerf-bat of your reality is not going to make much of a difference given many of the things noted in this thread already. Perhaps World of Tanks with its golden ammo is more to your liking and should be the game of choice for you.

I think your right. Planetside 2 is actually turning out to be alot of fun. Kind of "tanked out". Just thought since they are so successful, you could look at them and see why you are failing, sorry i mentioned it.
