- Display the 'Mech & Variant that your other group members are running. Would definitely cut down on setup time for TS drops.
- Display an in-game marker on (or change the color of) the blue HUD marker for friendlies in a 4-man drop, and a different marker for the group commander in all cases. These markers should also be visible to PUGs (so they know who's grouped up)
- Group commander(s) automatically gain control of the battlegrid, and can transfer command to different members of the team.
- Nav routes on the Battlegrid. Multiple Nav Points (or just a plain ol' route) can be set and linked by double-click-holding and drawing a line which is then displayed on all players' minimaps.
- General optimization of the Battlegrid's usability (decrease opening/closing times, 3 dimensional markers for nav points as opposed to the bearing-marked system, etc.)
- Chat callouts of grids will appear as a temporary ping of that grid (and any enemies currently on it) on the Battlegrid.
- Calling out a letter A-H in chat, if the 'Mech is currently on radar, will appear as a temporary ping on the Battlegrid and/or minimap as an indicator to focus fire.

Some things I've found would help a lot, especially for TeamSpeak puggers. I'm pretty sure a lot of this has been said before, but just to sum it all up:
