There is a ton of mechs I want to use and im not going to wait 30 years to play them! I think one year needs to equal 5 MWO years...

They are already tossing in stuff from the future. Just wait a short while and you will get other things as well.

Depending on the popularity and profitability of the game, I would expect that, eventually, there will be one or more timeline jumps.

Considering they're struggling to keep with the current timeline plan, throwing 5 years at them in a 1 year period isn't going to make it any better.

the version of ECM they included is the Angel suite of 3055, not the Guardian of 3050

I assumed that it is the devs non-TT interpretation of the Guardian system (range 180m is Guardian I think).

But I hope I am wrong because that would make the Angel pretty powerful.

the Guardian has no effect on Streak SRMs, only the Angel does, and the ECM in MWO was brought in to counter streaks, thus the Angel system

Not quite. Angel ECM allows Streaks to fire, they just roll on the cluster table with a successful to-hit roll as if they were dumb-fire SRMs.

12 mechs a year isn't that bad.. right? RIGHT?!??

no but seriuosly its horrible right now.

maybe if this game is a success the mechs will come out at a more reasonable pace. but for that to happen all of us have to stand by their decisions to make the game accessible to new players (3rd person view etc.)

its supposed to be 2 per month at least, perhaps currently there doing 1 innersphere and 1 clan mech at a time?.. hiding the clan mechs so they have a stockpile ready for when they 'invade'

Strange i had the opposite idea i wanted a little more time before the clans invaded. that way the houses could wage war between themselves for awhile, also giving more time to the dev team to get the clan mechs together.
