Lag shields are caused by processing delays in the Cry3 engine. Your personal ping has nothing to do with it. Hope that clears up alot of future threads on this subject (I doubt it).
Bad net code currently is to blame for the lag shield effect, and that is related to your own game rig on-board rendering. So, how can you fix this without forum ******** ? Best solution is to a. bear with it, and select a bigger mech, b. bring some wire-fire weapons to the fight such as SSRM's that will auto-hit opponents. c. ECW.
All 3 ways will enable you to continue to shoot mechs, without actually learning how to stagger your fire ahead of the hitbox to register a hit.
The movement prediction code FYI is a copyright and owned feature of the WarFace development team. PGI will need to code their own version, as this is not a stock feature in the Crytek engine license.

Talk about a highly xenophobic OP. So if OP had his way, no one could play others around the world, oh wait HE can have his own way - its called a LAN connection.
Oh please, explain to me how we can LAN up in MWO. Please please please please.....
How I wish they had servers for each continent instead of them just being in Canada. Of course, those in Antarctica would get lonely I suppose.....
