Best Players That You Ever Seen

Ultimately though, it really doesn't matter. Once the CW is introduced, it'll be what it is.
In all honesty though, if someone actually said something mouthy to you in chat during the game, I appologize. That would explain why you seem to have recalled the match so clearly, and why you seem kind of angry about it.

Yes, Blix gets accused of hacking more than anyone I've ever seen, let alone more than anyone in SJR...

you use alpha one hit wonders that are just point shoot laugh mech. easy mode: shooting at something that doesn't move doesn't shoot you back and falls in one or two hits. it's not impressive piloting but impressive mech build. impressive piloting are those kills made by 50-100 damage without kill stealing like headshots and well focus ct fire from those people not using alpha one hit wonders.
Wow and to think, what was I doing before they released the Stalker3F?!?!
My main mechs are my speedy K2 with dual PPCs and MPLs, my Founders Hunchback with it's AC20 and 3xML, and my Founders Atlas with 3LL, AC2, SSRMs.
I assure you I can get very very nice kills with these builds

That really doesn't sound like something we (we being {HRR}) would ever do. There are multiple units that used the HRR name over the years, but we were {HRR} back in the old UTS/NBT leagues.
There was a much more ... immature? group of folks that used the HRR tag in (I think?) the NoHeat/UnlimitedAmmo realm for a while. They often have the HRRx tag in front of their name, but as I do a search for HRR, I see a bunch of names I don't recognize (HRR Lizard? HRRxStormbringer?)... all of who are probably from a different unit.
.
If it was Roland and I, neither of us can recall the events you're describing, but as Roland said, apologies. Hopefully this is all a weird misunderstanding due to multiple groups using the HRR tag...
I suppose we'll have to ask the Devs how tags in usernames are going to be dealt with in the future after community warfare gets rolling.

Mongoose and a few of his R-Sauce'rs .. good? Yes, and I can attest ... very hard to get high damage in a round with these guys.
Wispsy and Epiphone ... best light pilots I know... both been doing it since closed beta. To be noted .. I don't believe either one fell into the "SSRM Jenner" fad that ruled the pre-ECM matches. (God I hated those things)
RockWolf on my team usually means I wont get a kill. Period.
And that Anvilforge Beardymug guy is a beast in his HBK-4SP .... /wink
But .. to put it out there... THE best all around player I know.. when you add his attitude and personality into the mix... as he is really not a bad pilot, in spite of his claims otherwise.
Glock.

You bring too many fast mechs for my liking, but dropping your atlas and having the only damage and kill on the team felt good. I think I can say with a little confidence that I am not your average atlas.
I wouldn't say we prefer one weight class or another, if it's part of the RHOD drop decs (and all weight classes are) then we try to become proficient in them. It's why we almost never run more than two assaults, because there's only one drop dec in the rotation that has 3 assaults.

all those 1+ to your name and that's all you have to say!!!????? i suggest we get a new king that congratulation speach was lame ;P
Ah ha I am sorry I saw a number of other names with multiple +1s as well and did not quite see that as winning MWO

I would say off the top of my head: Mota, RockWolf, Rippthrough, Alaric the Arcane, Epiphone, Blix, BattleKnight, Mumbler, Max Dragon, maybe MWHighlander.
As others have said though there is no real competitive scene atm and there are many many players I have not played against or have not seen enough of, my name likely only comes up so much because I type the same thing before every match making me more noticeable from the start!

So I have to fall back on the same few people that I've seen enough to give credit to, while recognizing that many of the best players are hidden in the fog of war. Instead, I'll cheat.
Those dudes in KaoS
Those dudes in CSR
Those dudes and dudette on my own team (SJR)
Several dudes in Draagun
Against KaoS and CSR I've had the most matches where I felt that individual skill got the opportunity to shine.
I'll post again at the end of season 1 of the RHOD league, because I think by then I'll have a better idea of just who is the best of the best.

If you say a pilot is that great when it's a full on 8v8 match then something is wrong with your team to allow one pilot to kick your *** that much.
Just saying, in a team based game of this type individual skill shouldn't shine that much or there is something wrong with one or both of the teams.
Now if you can actually have 1v1 fights, etc, then you might actually be able to say "hey that guy frigging rocks".

Norris - very good Atlas pilot
Vass - same, very good Atlas pilot
Connor Sinclair - another very good Atlas pilot
Pastor Of Muppets - his hunchback SP is pretty much a small Atlas, his Atlas is also exceptionally good
Chimeratron - exceptional Cataphract 2X pilot, his damage output will make many Atlas pilots blush
Kakos Kolos - best light pilot I've ever encountered
Sorry, if I forgot someone, but this is all I can remember for now.

We are. It's called Clan DV8, formerly Clan R-Sauce.

In all seriousness there are tons of great Mechwarriors out there and more that haven't even played yet. The difference between a good pilot and a great one is small but significant. It will always be impossible for someone to be the "best" at anything. The wins come when a bunch of the top % get together and play. It doesn't take many to swing the game into your favor and when you have a clan full of nothing but those that are in that top %, you just win.

Sign up for RHOD and see if you can get a 5th division created. There are already a few teams on the waiting list, a few more and we can probably get a 5th division. www.runhotordie.com
