Lots of good players mentioned so far. I would say that if any of you aren't in a unit you should check out the Run Hot Or Die league and find yourself a team.

I don't remember many players, but when I do, you can be sure they kick ***. My last encounter with Whispy: he one-shotted a Commando off my tail at full speed and then proceeded to get either 4 or 5 kills.

BattleKnight and a few others mentioned know what's going on, but Whispy is the only guy I've seen that talks **** before every round and almost never fails to follow through.

I would nominate LeoTib71 as a good pilot, and Galse as a good pilot who also likes to steal the effort of my hard work.

Sadly, I do not usually recall names as I have a terrible memory, by and large.

If I remember correctly Mongoose Trueborn was the only person EVER to exploit my tactical lack of armor in certain parts and leg my Atlas. (my apologies if it was someone else....it happened like 3 months ago, so I don't remember 100%)

Sadly I only recognize a few names being given. The ones I do from playing in matches are because ive dropped with them a couple times in closed beta. The rest from the forums.

I really wish I could give a shout out to some players I've seen but I really do not remember names. The only time I don't pug is when I am teaming up with a friend I know in RL.

I have had really good fights with and against allot of people. I'll have to start paying closer attention to their names.

This thread gives me hope for a competitive scene in MWO. Some evenings KaoS runs an 8 man team and we get lots of "match not found" messages, then end up rolling an unknown team that we never see or hear from again. It's always a pleasure when we drop against a unit we know and respect.
