Found a bug, loaded up an AWS-8Q, when I click on the engine thats on the chassis (not actually dragging, just clicking to hilight) to drag it off it throws an exception. Pasted the contents of the exception in the box below.

See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.
For example:
<configuration>
    <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>
When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

Not a problem. Had to do something during the downtime... sure I could have been doing my day job but what fun is that? :)

I wanted to thank you for this utility. AFAIK, it is the only one for WP8 I could find. It works brilliantly, and, as a likely unintended side effect, it allows me to mock up future mechs, so long as the tonnage is similar, because it lets me drop equipment in any part, whether or not there is a hardpoint for it there. I actually got to build a couple Jagermechs a month before the Jagermech came out!

My one and only irritation with the program is that it can be difficult to X an item out of the mech and instead it thinks you want to add something. It is such a minor inconvenience, however, that I don't think it is worth worrying about.

You're very welcome and I'm happy to hear you're enjoying the app. Doing any layout was one of the things I personally wanted because I play fantasy MW:O sometimes in meetings at work. :angry:

Components being too small should be an easy fix. I'll see what I can do in the next release.

FYI: the Pro version should be out soon (pending WP QA - can you believe MS actually manually QA tests every app?) and it'll allow loadout saving. I'm planning a garage feature as well to side-by-side compare saved loadouts.

Thanks again for the feedback!

Unfortunately there's no way to directly import anything into the game itself. The export feature is for generating BBCode for forums. I should rename the option, sorry for any confusion. To rebuild the mech in game, you'll need to actually build it in game.

I've had this almost since the moment I bought my lumia 810, love it, great job, I usually tinker with ideas while laying in bed after I've finished gamed for the night, because..you know...you cant just fall asleep after mechanized warfare.

Awesome to hear. Sorry for the delays in updates. I push them to the Windows Store at the same time push them for the Desktop version but MSFT does a round of QA on phone apps that takes a long time.

Also, the issue with the Pro version being hidden on the store has been fixed (finally) if you're interested. ;)
