I have unlocked this on 3 cats and my stock speed is still 64.8, i have the stock engine and have not seen any improvementssince i spent the xp. Is it broken or my client need reinstalling?


any advice would be great

It doesnt show the changes in the mechlab. once you are in-game it will show your max speed is faster

For example in the mechlab it says my raven goes 136 something KPH, but in-game it goes 150.2.

tried the battlefield no change to speed as if i never unlocked it..

Hmm I am not experienced with heavy mechs. You might have to pony-up and buy an XL. don't buy it just because I said so. there very well might be a speed cap.

I have all 3 of my Cats mastered, Speed tweak seems to be working on all 3. Not entirely sure on the C1 and A1, since I haven;t played them a lot recently, but my up-engined K2 does over 78kph. Before they fixed Speed Tweak (7.5%->10%), I was doing something around 74/75kph. K2 is up-engined, but only in rating, no XL.

If it's not working, maybe logout/in or quit/restart? If that doesn't fix it, I'd report it.

Speed tweak is not depended upon having a XL engine its purely a x% on top of your engine rating speed.

Only use an XL in Dragon and Cat but in all my other mechs I get the full bonus to speed taking into account mech lab only shows basic values without taking into account pilot skills

In game how ever if stock speed shows 48.6 my mech will move at a max @ 53.4

Speed Tweak works fine on my Catapult K2.

Speed Tweak doesnt work at all in my mech too. Cataphract, 325 XL, 75,2 kmh and not one more. The mechlab shows 75,2 and ingame topspeed is also 75,2. I've checked all twice and three times, restarted the game, nothing. So I assume, all other elite efficiencies and the basic double also doesnt work (all elite buttons are green and under basics there is the "2x"). What to do? Any input is appreciated. Thanks.

Are you trying this in a real game, or testing grounds? I have noticed that my speed tweak ( or any efficiencies for that matter) don't work in training grounds.

Send an email to support. If you are not getting a speed increase when you put in the tweak, you have a bug.

yeah, it's right! I wanted to try at testing grounds first and it didnt work, now, in battle all is fine. Thanks for the help, guys!!
