I love how he says he used tactics to deal with LRMs and that everyone who didn't went and whined so that his favorite mechs are now broken. Then ECM hits and apparently he can't find a tactic to deal with it and makes a video whining about it?

Wha...I drop often with Kong and somehow always get rotated to a posting on Frozen City. We've done a lot more than tunnel rush. I'd rather not discuss actual tactics or map locations of other strategies though.

When Connor is Lance Leader things can go differently but that might be the flavor of the match. Maybe he feels like tanking or maybe going into the tunnel but always one strategy? That also depends on who we're fighting against. The red square is the least of our worries.

I can honestly say, the only time I've seen conner that I can remember is in one 8-man...we tried damn hard to drop against him again...but to no avail..I'm not referring to 8-mans...that involves righteous smack talking as a pre-req...I'm referring to smack-talking pugs to feel cool...something I've only seen Vass do in the name of Kong...

Smack talking pugs? Kong has a disturbing dedication to trying to get enough players form our ragtag bunch to play 8-mans. There are veterans that are burned out and will only play in 4-mans or even solo queue. Do macros count? Those end up being the same nonsense. Believe me I've told them to keep it fresh but there aren't any new ones yet. Posting a 4-man victory screen has little real value.

Still, the smack talking is relegated mostly to 8-mans. It might be part psyops or as we take down LRMboats.

LOL...than you really need to run 4-mans with Vass some more if you think he doesn's smack talk pugs...I'm not in a unit...have only been experimenting with TS for 3 days...and have only run a handful of 8-mans...ALL of my experience with Kong other than a few recent 8-mans, has been solo-pug drops...I start the match with <S> Vass.....as a recognizable forum name (and still on my friends list, for now, since closed beta) only to be resonded with 'Kong is strong tonight'....'owned'....etc....all while he's dead during a fast-cap base rush. Literally, Every single recent experience with a pugging 'kong' representative. It has left a very, very bad impression on me...almost irrationally so at this point. I do not know, nor judge the originization as a whole, but all I have to go by is the self-proclaimed representative (who still does not bear the forum KONG tag).

I believe the current standing orders regarding the cap are to ignore it and focus on killing mechs instead. That's where the real money is at. There are plenty of bugged matches with disconnects where we have to cap to finish the match. I've even taken lead a few times and told lance members to ignore our base even when it was under attack.

We've lost a few matches in 4-mans against fast cappers. We do rebuke and chide them to get off of the red square via chat. Then the victory screen turns up and you can tell who the fast cappers were from their damage scores.

Kong strong, clothes game, owned? That's standard fare for any size match. Do you have something a bit better? I'll have to drop into a 4-man match with Vass more often but he's seriously only around to do 8-mans when he's available.
