So who has already started thier Pit? (got pics?) or do you have plans yet for one? Me...well gonna convert my flight pit over or try to make it more of a multi role pit. If that dont work, well the Man Cave will just have to accomodate two pits :D
And for those of us that are going to build something.... thewayiplay.com Great site for builder info and ideas. How to's on making your equipment and where to find specialized equip. The site is mainly geared towards racing but mucho crossover info for builders.

Well the foot print of the pit I'm going to convert is about 3'x5' so thats not too bad but it will be getting a multi monitor setup so it will obviously be getting wider in that respect

Moving so it will be awhile before I have a dedicated space. Until then I need to find a good desk to repurpose.

I am considering purchasing a joystick, but not entirely sure about that yet. I plan to buy the Elite package, so dropping $60 in the beginning seems enough to be sure a joystick would even be desired beyond that point.

However, I do have two screens at the moment, so being able to take full benefit from that would be awesome

Two words brother... "Cable Management" , I'd recommend 2" PVC Pipe corners at a minimum.

Any real news on which joysticks it will actually control? There is nothing as sweet as being able to play at like like your in one of those battletech pods they used to have all over.
