

Request For Statistics On 8-Man Drops

A few of the common trends I'm seeing in complaints (I don't play 8 mans or groups of any kind so this is just what I see);
1. ECM Raven/Atlas dominance and other balance issues (possible evaluation needed?)
2. Difficult to get full 8-man team for any duration of time (real life issues coming up for individuals)
3. large skill divide between teams (something that will likely have to wait for ELO, but even with that if more people aren't dropping... ELO won't be much use).
So what would be helpful is (specifically regarding 8-man matches);
A; 24 hour average breakdown of when teams are running and how many
B; How many of those are one-sided/shutouts (ie no more than 2 kills scored for the losing team)
C; How many of each variant are on winning teams and losing teams, and the prevalence of ECM
D; What kind of damage (LRM laser, SRM, SSRM, AC etc) seems to be getting the most kills/damage and ranked so we can see if anything obvious sticks out.
The reason I am asking for all this info is this; group drops and competetive play are going to be a major plus to this game if done right, and a major hitch of done wrong. I understand matchmaking is not yet complete, however with a lot of these problems ELO won't matter as there are other factors driving the effective number of teams ELO can work with down to nearly non existent, basically removing it as a balancing factor in 8-mans.

A) they play 8 man,

C) Getting a team together is a pain in the butt
D) They are waiting for phase 3
E) 4 mans are going against other 4 mans and are fine with it.

Maybe the rewards for using the toggle for 8 man could be increased to makeup for the greater difficulty.

Pugs whined and cried. But now they blame there losses on 4 man. So PGI is working on Phase 3 and we'll get 1-8 mans back.

If I wanted to play this competitively I would play 8 man, not farm public games.
Don't see how that is flip-flopping.
