I was thinking and discussing with friends about the current mechbay settings and we´ve put together some ideas (some of them were already mentioned):

to be able to:
- sort the own mechs (drag and drop), to get a line up (e.g. sort by tonnage)
- rename the own mechs

But more important:

- be able to save build-variants (maybe a local file)

Imagine...you´ve spent some time to create and tweak a loadout. A few weeks later you try a different loadout, but after recognizing that the old one was better you need to recreate your "old build". It would be nice to switch back to a "saved loadout" by button. (similar to the mech-commander2 mechbay)

Preparing different loadouts / variants of my mechs would be really great. You could save (as many) loadouts (as you want) for a special mech. Maybe there could be opened a list with all loadouts available by clicking a button above the mechbay (like the "sell" or the "create" button). Loadouts that are not possile to use (e.g. not all weapons or items of the build are available in the inventory at that time) should be disabled.

Would be a really really nice feature !

It would be also nice to exchange the GXP to MC :)

Having to memorize builds is indeed a headache. I definitely approve of this idea!

+1 Sort mechbay (I already own enough mechs that scrolling to the end takes a while-- I would love to sort by weight, name, etc). +1 Save variants. I have tweaked a few mechs and after a while I wanted to go back to stock. So far I have had a hard time figuring out what stock looked like. Would love to save when I buy it. Play. Tweak. Save. Play. Load. Tweak. etc.

I would like to be able to manage my weapons groups in the mechbay and have them save.
