See, your idea of drawing some of them off, it only works if they don't follow the prime commandment of "stick together".

I say this as someone who loved Dragons back in closed beta, and has a Flame currently. The amount of hurt on a 60ton fast mech is generally much less than on a 65-70ton mech traveling slower.

Stick together is a movement to get into place. Most matches been in with "Stick Together" the team has lost, included with FF. So, you have 15 min of live left, and the words..."Ok guys, stick together" is suicide. Easy targets from the enemy. Their is way more and tactics other than "Stick Together"

Except it generally does work if the other enemy splits up. If they don't you get a massive and fun brawl.

While you may not say it, the majority of any wins you get are the result of people applying this basic idea, with the rest being when neither team did.

However, I always try to get out of the way of the one or two mechs who insist on circling with the faster light as they are going to be firing all their weapons in every direction...
Of course stick together also means when we've met the enemy, don't leave that one guy all alone because even though a warrior's death is cool and all it also leaves your team one short. Help each other retreat instead of calling "every mech for itself!"....

Example:
You start in ice city southern (lower) spawn point.
In 95% of all games that end with a win (excluded those games where the enemy team defeats itself)
it is due to one of two tactics:
1) Go tunnel
2) Defend in F5 (between the buildings below the ****** ridge) or one square to the right.
So games starts
teamchat: tunnel
answer yes -> go tunnel
answer no -> okay F5 then
end of conversation. maybe announce some targets like "A" or "B" or if you spot the enemy team in the tunnel
